Norco, CA—This June, the Inland Empire Tech Bridge—alongside Future Laboratories and the Riverside Community College District—welcomed Oswaldo Cisneros as its inaugural Lab Fellow. A 23-year-old Norco College student with a certification in Industrial Machining and Automation, Oswaldo brings both technical expertise and a passion for hands-on innovation to the Maverick Labs team.
Since the beginning of his fellowship, Oswaldo played a key role in the setup and calibration of several advanced tools, including the Ultimaker S5 and Bambu X1C 3D printers, the Artec LEO 3D scanner, and other essential prototyping equipment. His work has accelerated our lab’s operational readiness and enhanced its capacity to serve regional innovators.
In addition to equipment setup, Oswaldo focused on safety and process development. He participated in the OSHA 10 General Industry training hosted by the Riverside County Workforce Development Center, gaining critical knowledge in workplace hazard recognition, fall prevention, electrical safety, and more. Following the course, Oswaldo collaborated with Tech Bridge partners to create standard operating procedures and safety protocols for Maverick Innovation Labs—including the organization of safety data sheets for all lab materials and equipment.
Oswaldo’s contributions have laid a strong foundation for lab operations and reflect the growing pipeline of skilled talent emerging from the Inland Empire. We’re proud to support local students like Oswaldo as they gain real-world experience and help build the region’s innovation future.
